What started out as merely an idea has finally become a reality. Over twenty years ago, the vision of a Christian church being planted was first brought forth by the leaders of Heartland Evangelizing Association (HEA)–a small fundraising organization in southern Illinois. This dream sat dormant until 2017 when HEA decided to partner with Ignite Church Planters in Chicago. Through countless prayers and supporters, they determined in 2018 that the next location to plant a Christian church would be Highland!

Following that faithful decision, Ignite and HEA selected Aaron and Allison Kelso to lead and begin work on this new mission. Two months after the Kelsos moved to Highland, they began connect groups (home studies) and with this, the community of Restore Church was born. Then, later that year, on October 20th, 2019, the congregation launched its first Sunday worship service which brought and continues to bring people to God.

 

We are Restore! And as long as we gather this church will exist.
