AARON KELSO

Lead Minister

My name is Aaron! I'm originally from Alhambra, IL. After graduating from Highland High School, I attended Saint Louis Christian College where I received a Bachelors in Behavior Ministry (Christian Counseling) and Biblical Studies. For two and a half years following my time in college, I served as the lead minister of Palmyra Christian Church. While there, I married my high school sweetheart Allison and was approached by Ignite Church Planters about an opportunity to start a new Christian church in my home community of Highland. Feeling the Lord's call, Allison and I have embarked on a journey to form the community that is Restore! God has been so good to us. And since we started our church family has grown as well as our home. For in 2025 we not only became foster parents, but also welcomed the birth of our son Hezekiah!

JOSIAH MOHR

My name is Josiah! Originally from Orfordville, WI, I moved to southern Illinois to attend Greenville University way back in 2015. After graduating in 2019 with Bachelor Degrees in Ministry and Business Management, I worked in coffee to varying degrees and roles for 5 years. Following God's direction searching for a new church home in the Fall of 2021, my now wife, Elsa, and I found our way to Restore and went from visitor to member to pastor. I officially joined the ministry staff in a part-time role in the Spring of 2022, and now serve in a full-time capacity. Elsa & I were married in the Spring of 2025 and now live in nearby Greenville. We have been so blessed to be a part of this church family and ministry! My hope is that you too will join us, and witness all the exciting things God is doing in our communities!
